The shifter configuration absolutely makes this machine a 1986 or 1987. The super K designation I cannot be right. This is possibly why the previous buyer backed out. This machine has most certainly been Frankensteined together. Not to be a jerk. Hopefully saving you another headache and possibly legal issues. Do you have a picture of the serial number plate? Thank you for your inquiry and subsequent assumptions of what this machine is. Our service records indicate that this BH was purchased new and began service in 92. However, upon your request for the SN, I researched it, and it is indeed not a 1992. According to the VIN/SN decoder on TheBrokenTractor.com, it is a 1993! The SN is JJG0164699. Per that website, 1993 Super K SN was between JJG0164349 and JJG0171539.It also states that 86/87 models had 8 digit SN except for the last of the 87's. Those started the JJG era. Have the BH controls been swapped? Possibly. However, if they have, it was done at the Case dealer that we purchased it from and is certainly NOT Frankensteined together! So it appears that the Super K designation is correct. The previous buyer didn't pay and would not return calls/emails. My bet would be scammers.
