We strongly encourage all prospective bidders to exercise due diligence and personally inspect the item before placing any bids. This will allow you to assess the condition and functionality of the item to make an informed decision.

Please note that most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. The State Surplus Warehouse is open for inspection of property without an appointment on Monday thru Friday 8:30-3:30. Upon successful payment for the items listed you have ten (10) business days to remove them from the specified location. Payment must be made before you can take possession of the items.

As the buyer, it is your responsibility to arrange and perform all the necessary work to move the purchased items. This includes packing, loading, and transporting them. If you need assistance from staff, you must schedule an appointment for pickup.

The seller will not handle packing, loading, or shipping of the items unless an agreement is made with buyer and seller. Additionally, you are not allowed to perform any maintenance on the property purchased on State of Alaska premises.

If someone else is picking up the items on your behalf, you need to provide written authorization (a letter or email) to the seller. The third party must present a photo ID to confirm their authorization.

You can pick up the items between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, Alaska Standard Time.

If you cause any damage to the State of Alaska property during the removal process, you will be required to reimburse the State of Alaska for the repair costs.

If you fail to remove the purchased items within the specified ten (10) business days, the items will be forfeited and given back to the State of Alaska.

The Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale shall conform to its description as provided in the auction listing.

1. Any claim regarding misdescription of the property must be promptly made by the Buyer prior to the removal of the property from the designated location.
2. In the event the Seller verifies that the property does not conform to its description, the Seller shall have the option to retain the property and shall provide a full refund of any monies paid by the Buyer.
3. The Seller's liability, in case of any verified misdescription or non-conformity of the property, shall be limited to the total actual purchase price paid by the Buyer for the said property.

NOTICE:

If you are the winning bidder and default by failing to; provide payment, remove property, or otherwise fail to adhere to this seller's terms and conditions, your account with Liquidity Services WILL BE LOCKED.

Guaranty Waiver:

All property offered for sale 'AS IS, WHERE IS.' State of Alaska, Department of Administration, Office of Procurement and Property Management makes no warranty, guaranty, or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.

Important Notes:

• The Department of Administration reserves the right to pull property from auctions without notice if the property is requested by a higher priority agency.
• All State of Alaska departments requesting to reutilize surplus property are responsible for the prompt removal and transportation of said property within 10 business days of the date requested.
