We are unable to comment on any potential future legislation or smog requirements that may be enacted by CARB. Because this vehicle weighs over 14,000 lbs, has a diesel engine, and is registered in California as a commercial vehicle, it is required to be enrolled in the Clean Truck Check program, which reports to CARB. Whether the vehicle qualifies for exempt status will depend on how the buyer intends to use and register it, including whether it meets CARB’s criteria for an emergency‑response vehicle. Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided.

It, therefore, could be subject to exhaust retrofit or accelerated turnover requirements to reduce emissions of air pollutants. This agency does NOT provide SMOG CERTIFICATION or EMISSIONS RETROFIT. All smog related repairs and certifications for vehicles are the sole responsibility of the buyer as outlined in California Vehicle Code, Division 12, Section 24007.5.
