Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Inspection is by appointment only.

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. As a condition of removal and sale of property, Buyer shall be required to execute a Bill of Sale prior to removal of the property. The Bill of Sale documents transfer of ownership to the Buyer and provides that the conveyance is being made “as-is” without warranty of any kind. The Bill of Sale further provides that Buyer agrees to release and hold harmless the Seller from and against any and all claims that arise in connection with the property. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No assistance will be provided. Buyer shall be responsible for all damages and injuries arising out of the removal and transportation of the property, including damages to property and personal injury. Seller expressly reserves the right to deny Buyer permission to remove any item in the event Seller determines that Buyer does not have adequate manpower or equipment to remove the property without risk of personal injury or property damage. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

Prohibitions: To avoid prohibited conflicts of interest, and the appearance of impropriety, Property shall not be sold, conveyed, or transferred to any Board member or employee of the District, or to members of immediate families of the foregoing persons, or to any organizations, business or other entities in which any of the foregoing persons have a financial or ownership interest.
