Removal
BIDDER SHALL CALL AND SCHEDULE THEIR PICK-UP DATE WITH AT LEAST 24 HOURS NOTICE. Payments are made through GovDeals before contacting the City of Wilson about removal. All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and Buyer’s Certificate.
BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL OF ALL ITEMS. THE CITY WILL NOT ASSIST WITH ANY COSTS, LOADING, OR ASSISTANCE. PLEASE COME PREPARED.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation of property. Under no circumstances will the City of Wilson assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Items may be removed between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday, excluding legal holidays. We do not not give the option of mailing the title anymore as they get lost in the mail.
