One broken and failed aluminum fire department ladder. One 24 foot twisted extension ladder, unsafe to use, this ladders is NOT serviceable.
ladder is not fit to use and is being sold as scrap. Potential bidders should review all terms, images and descriptions prior to bidding. All assets are being offered AS IS. All
assets should be thoroughly inspected by a
professional prior to use. Winning bidder is responsible for any taxes due on the sale of assets. Assets may be
picked up from 8 am until 3 pm on Monday
through Thursdays. Individuals picking up assets MUST present the buyer’s certificate and valid ID. We will not
ship any assets. We will not pack assets for
shipments picked up by third parties. We will not arrange or assist with shipping services.

Inspección

Prospective bidders must call ahead for an inspection appointment. Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. On-site inspection locations are as follows and are to be determined for each piece of equipment offered: MCFRS Central Maintenance Facility (CMF) Door A-9 14935 Southlawn Lane Rockville, MD 20850 Appointments can be scheduled with Firefighter III - Dan Rothermel during normal business hours at 717-443- 1463.

Pago

Payment in full is due not later than 10 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Payment may be made the same time as item is picked up. Acceptable forms of payment are: Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory) See Contact below for any questions.

Eliminación

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m, TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, AND THURSDAYS ONLY. Appointments can be scheduled with Firefighter III - Dan Rothermel during normal business hours at 717-443-1463. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.” Montgomery County Fire/Rescue makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
