Surface planer is operational, blades may be dull and require replacing

This planer is designed for heavy-duty use and can process large volumes of wood quickly and accurately.
The inserts on the 4-row helical cutterhead sit at a slight angle to the workpiece for smooth shearing cuts, minimized tearout, a smoother finish, and operating at lower noise levels. The 92 indexable carbide inserts can each be rotated three times to expose new, sharp cutting edges.
The solid cast-iron, extension tables make the total planer bed length just short of 5' long! They are precision-ground to a mirror-like finish for ultra-smooth lumber feeding.
The adjustable bed rollers keep the planer feeding smoothly. The feed rollers are driven by a two-speed gearbox at 16 FPM or 28 FPM.
The G1033X incorporates a safety magnetic switch for overload and power failure protection. The power controls are mounted on an attached pedestal for easy access.
The power is transferred from the 5 HP motor to the cutterhead by a triple v-belt design. This ensures maximum power connection between the cutterhead and the feed drive.

For models manufactured July 2007 and later, use H9893 (92) 15mm x 15mm x 2.5mm replacement inserts.*
