MTA NYC Transit is offering for auction a 55 foot flat rail car Weight: Approximately 40,000 lbs. Condition: Used, but considered operable. See attached photos for details. Current and future Contractors of the MTA may purchase this railcar but will be prohibited from returning it to the New York City Transit system. The only approved method of removal is via lowboy trailer utilizing a winch Sold "AS IS, WHERE IS". MTA NYC Transit makes no guarantee or warranty on any parts or equipment. Condition and quantity are represented to the best of our ability, bid accordingly. No refunds or cancellations. Any questions regarding the unit should be directed to us via the questions forum. For inspections, you must send an email to Asset.Recovery@nyct.com indicating your name, date, and time you wish to attend. Appointment is required or access will be denied. ***Highest bid is subject to NYCT approval***

Payment in full is due not later than five (5) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. Payment must be made electronically via the payment methods listed below.
TAX CALCULATION & EXEMPTIONS
TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.
TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer’s Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to Bidder Services at tax@govdeals.com within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction’s close to expedite this process. Please contact Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.
Eliminación
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

New York City Transit, NY makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
