You are bidding on a used fuel tank that the highway department purchased many years ago (year unknown) and has never used. It has been stored inside and out of the weather.

Its dimension are 24"x24"x24"

It has a safety fill capacity of 50 U.S. Gallons

This item is used and sold as-is.

The highway department employees will help load up if needed, it will be the buyers responsibility to secure the load.

Inspection: Bidders should inspect the item prior to placing a bid as once the bid is placed, it can not be canceled or retracted. This item is located at the Franklin Co. Highway Department, at 600 Park Blvd, NE, Russellville, AL 35853

Hours for inspection are 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM – Monday through Thursday. After hours and weekend inspections are not allowed.

To arrange to view the item, call Jason Baggett at 256-332-8434 to arrange for a time with an escort.

Unescorted inspection or viewing is not allowed nor encouraged.

This item is sold as is, where is, and without warranty. It is the responsibility of the buyer to schedule pick up and transport. County can help load on trailer if needed, buyer will be responsible for securing load. For further information or inspection of this item see below.

PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ONLINE-- To make online payment, Log into your Liquidity Services account and select “My Bids”. Please follow the instructions there.

Payment in full is due not later than five (5) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. Payment must be made electronically via the payment methods listed below.

TAX EXEMPTION

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer’s Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to this seller within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Please use the “Ask a Question” feature to for all questions.

Suppression

Removal: If you are the winning bidder, contact the Seller PRIOR to arriving to verify payment has cleared and for instructions on pickup and removal or to authorize a third-party to pick up the item. Franklin Co. Highway Department is open between 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM.-Monday through Thursday. Pick up of keys and removal must be done during these hours. There will be no after hours removals, nor is the Franklin Co. Highway Dept. available for removal during weekends. Please allow sufficient time if you are paying on the same day that you are picking up an item to allow for the processing of the payment, and the title and/or “Bill of Sale” processing as payments are done at another location (the Franklin Co. Commission Office) other than where your item is located. The Franklin Co. Commission hours are 8:00 A.M.to 5:00 P.M. Bidders are to remove their property within five (5) business days after the issuance of the Buyers Certificate of Award, or a $20.00 daily storage fee will be incurred. Repairs will not be allowed to vehicles on Franklin Co. Highway Department property. Successful bidder shall be responsible to arrange for the wrecker, roll-back wrecker, trailer, etc., necessary to remove a vehicle from Franklin Co. Highway Department property. The Highway Department will help load items on trailer the buyer will be responsible for securing load.
