- AVL Model 878 Mobile VSAT 85cm Motorized Transportable Antenna AVL-878-MVSAT: This is currently mounted in a mobile box with features including automatic satellite acquisition, vehicle tilt compensation, and cross-pol alignment. The 878 is an .85 meter Ku-Band VSAT auto-deploy antenna that is excellent for medium sized vehicles requiring satellite communications. AVL Technologies antennas are built MilSpec tough, and are currently in service on thousands of First Responder, Public Safety, NASCAR, and Department of Defense vehicles. Deployment action is sure and smooth, and once the antenna has completed it’s automatic pointing it is rock solid. Be sure to ask for complete information about this powerful mobile VSAT antenna.

NOTE: This satellite system was purchased from Mobile Satellite Technologies (MobilSat) but has since been acquired by Expedition Communications. Expedition Communications was contacted and the satellite dish can activated by contacting Expedition Communications Technical Support 877-410-8101 and would require a system update to become operational. Or contact the manufacturer, AVL, at 1-828-250-9950.
This item was purchased for emergency communications but was never deployed. It looks brand new.

Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
