The ALTEC LRV55 Aerial is an over-center, 360 degree continuous rotation bucket truck that had received annual aerial inspections and dielectric testing by local ALTEC service center. It appears that the last inspection performed by ALTEC occurred in 2024. The controls at the bucket feature a joystick type control, as well as hydraulic tool circuits, emergency lowering switch, and hydraulic stop valve.
Body and cab are in fair condition (see photos), cab seats torn, some rust and damage to upper walkway on drivers side, as shown in photos, graphics removed, impressions may remain. Front Tires are indecent condition, rear tires are fair.
***NOTES***
* Records indicate that this truck received an in-frame engine overhaul and cylinder head replacement in February 2018, at 35,772 miles.
* A/C Evaporator replaced in May 2025, appears to be blowing cold at this time.
* L/R outrigger valve sticking in raise position.
* Rotation valve at lower controls is stiff and sticking, could probably be corrected by lubricant spray.
* Upper controls were not tested at this time, however there was no report of any issues with the joystick at the upper control position.
