10 Decommissioned bus (Without Tires) – 2008 NABI/416.15.02 – Lot BL26-10
BL26-10 - The New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJ TRANSIT) is soliciting offers to purchase ten (10) decommissioned buses (2008 NABI/416.15.02 Bus 5204, 5213, 5224, 5228, 5244, 5331, 5339, 5341, 5344, and 5349). The tires are NOT included but can be purchased separately. Buses are located at 442 Avenue P, Newark NJ 07105.

Buses have reached the end of their useful life and are being retired from service. Buses are not in driving condition and towing will be required to remove them from the property.

The buses will be sold in “as is” “where is” condition and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Solicitation. If a third party is picking up material, we are not responsible for lost material.

***Due to liability issues, the bid winner will be REQUIRED to TOW/FLATBED the buses from the lot. No prep-work, mechanical or otherwise, except for tow purposes, will be allowed***

Purchase price does NOT include tires, though they can be purchased separately. A certified check for $ $23,559.32 is required for the tires at the time of the initial bus pickup. There is no buyer's premium added to the check. *** The check will be returned when the tires are returned to 601 Doremus Avenue Newark NJ 07105. *** It is the buyer’s responsibility to return all tires back within 21 days. If not returned during the accepted time frame the check will be cashed and no refund given. The buyer can keep the rims.
