Buyers will be required to present a certified REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or ID card and social security card or passport ID to gain access to MAIN GATE OF Fort Leonard Wood.

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.

Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.

At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).

Visitors traveling on I-44 must use exit 161 toward Fort Leonard Wood.  Enter the main gate using the far-left lanes 1 or 2.

IMPORTANT REAL ID ACT INFO: Fort Leonard Wood no longer accepts state issued driver licenses that do not meet the standards of the REAL ID Act of 2005 for base access purposes.  Individuals requesting access with a non-REAL ID-compliant state license will also need to present one of the documents required to prove identity to be vetted and issued an installation pass (in addition to their non-REAL ID-compliant state license). The information on REAL ID Act supplemental identity proofing documents see below.

IDENTIFICATION: Persons possessing a Department of War (DoW) or Federal issued identification card or a Fort Leonard Wood issued pass must present this document at the gate of entry before access is granted.  All persons and vehicles are subject to random inspection prior to gaining access.

NOTICE:  ♦ THE REAL ID ACT IS IN FULL EFFECT FOR FORT LEONARD WOOD♦ If a visitor has no REAL ID or supplemental document (listed below) with a non-compliant REAL ID, a pass WILL NOT be issued, and you WILL NOT be allowed entry under any conditions .

This applies whether they have a pre-approved pass or not.

Please ensure all visitors have a REAL ID or appropriate supplemental document with a non-compliant driver’s license. Fort Leonard Wood will no longer accept for access purposes, state issued driver licenses (DL) or state issued IDs that do not meet the Real ID Act of 2005 standards.  Person(s) requesting access with a non-compliant state DL or ID will need to present, along with the non-compliant DL/ID, one of the documents below to prove identity to be issued a pass or given access to Ft. Leonard Wood.

•             Certified birth certificate (not a photo copy)

•             Social Security Card (not a photo copy)

•             School identification card with photograph (high school and college age students)

•             US military or draft record (DD Form 214)

•             US Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Card

•             Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)

•             US Native American tribal document

•             NEW VA health card

•             Permanent Resident Card/Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551)

•             Foreign passport with a temporary (I-551) stamp or temporary (I-551) printed notation on a machine-readable immigrant visa

•             Foreign passport with Form I-94 or Form I-94A bearing same name as passport and containing an endorsement of the alien’s nonimmigrant status, as long as the endorsement has not expired and proposed employment is not in conflict with restrictions or limitations identified on the form.
