Oliver Machinery Co. industrial vertical bandsaw, Model No. 217-D.

This is a heavy-duty, vintage woodworking bandsaw manufactured in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and previously marked as U.S. Navy property (Norfolk, VA). Known for their high-quality cast iron construction, Oliver machines are widely regarded as premium industrial woodworking equipment.

Unit is equipped with a Howell Electric Motors 3 HP, 3-phase motor (220/440V, 60 cycle). A Westinghouse general duty safety disconnect switch is mounted on the machine.

The bandsaw appears complete with upper and lower wheel housings, table, blade guides, and drive components. A blade is currently installed; condition unknown.

No testing has been performed. Surface rust and cosmetic wear are present consistent with age and storage. Electrical components contain dust/debris and should be inspected prior to use.

Estimated weight is approximately 1,500 lbs. This is a large and heavy machine.

IMPORTANT: Buyer will need to bring appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) and assistance for loading.
