What are the exact code/s the Mechanic read with his OBD-II scanner? For example: P013x–P016x: Oxygen (O₂) sensor circuit malfunctions. P0171 / P0174: System running too lean or too rich. P0300–P0306: Engine misfires. P0420: Catalyst efficiency below threshold (usually indicates an issue with the catalytic converter or an O₂ sensor).
