Known mechanical problems:
Bus has recently been put out of service since May of 2026. The washer fluid sprayer motor is bad and will pop the fuse if it is activated. Wipers work. The bus has been recently PM serviced. The LED bulbs in the destination panel are not working. Interested parties are urged to schedule a time to evaluate the bus in person before bidding. The bus is being sold “as is.”
It is strongly encouraged and recommended that any potential bidder inspect the bus before submitting a bid. An inspection can be scheduled by contacting Mr. Hall, as mentioned above.
The bus is being sold "as is, where is." MTSU does not guarantee operability or functionality of the bus.
It is the responsibility of the winning bidder to provide all resources to facilitate removal from MTSU property.

According to the drawings from StarTrans, the bus is 362 inches. This would be just over 30 ft. nose to tail. Yes, the AC works. I had our mechanics to crank it up and check that today. 08/11/2026 16:39:09 PM

Hi seller. To have a better understanding of this washer spray issue. We are talking about the windshield wiper sprays correct? If so, using the windshield wipers isn't a good idea, even though they work? Was the bus in route up until the date it was retired/ decommissioned? Thank you for your time. 09/07/2026 10:16:07 AM
Yes, we are talking about the windshield wiper sprayer. Activating the windshield wiper washer fluid sprayer switch causes a fuse to pop and the wipers stop working until the fuse is replaced. The wipers work with no issue as long as the washer fluid sprayer is not activated. The issue is likely with the windshield wiper sprayer motor. The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.
Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
A daily storage fee may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days.
