Removal is by appointment only, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays and government closures. Upon payment verification, buyer shall pre-arrange removal date and time with City and County of Denver employees at least 48 hours in advance. No exceptions! The Bill of Sale must be presented at time of pick-up. No exceptions! Buyer/Transport Company will be turned away if removal has not been scheduled and/or Bill of Sale is not presented and/or arrival occurs outside of authorized removal hours. No exceptions!.

Buyer shall remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Notice of Award. If Buyer, after making payment for an item, fails to remove the item within the specified timeframe, the City and County of Denver reserves the right (1) to retain any and all payments; and (2) to dispose of the item as deemed desirable by the agency.

Buyer shall be responsible for the loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located, as indicated on the website and in the Notice of Award. Buyer shall make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will the City and County of Denver assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Loading and transportation of all purchased items is strictly the buyer's responsibility. No service of any kind will be furnished by the City.

Removal appointments per auction item shall be limited to two. If after two removal appointments, buyer and/or transport company has failed to remove auction item from City property, buyer will be defaulted, and the City and County of Denver will retain auction item. No exceptions!

A daily storage fee of $50.00 will be charged for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
