These are professional-grade, 3-section sliding rails designed to allow your server to smoothly extend completely out of the rack for easy maintenance without unmounting. How it Works: It is a 3-section sliding rail kit designed for toolless installation into standard 4-post square-hole server racks. It allows a 1U server to slide completely out of the rack enclosure for servicing without being unmounted.

o This is the profile depth of the rail itself when fully retracted inside a cabinet. The rails are adjustable to fit standard 4-post server racks with a front-to-back post-span depth ranging between 24.8 inches to 34.1 inches (631 mm to 868 mm).

· Completely Open Length (Full Extension): Approximately 54.5 inches (1,384 mm)

o Because these are a 3-section full-extension sliding design, the middle and inner segments slide all the way out, effectively doubling the length of the rail. This provides complete clearance so the server can be entirely serviced outside the rack footprint.

o Enterprise 1U sliding rails are heavily engineered out of structural steel to withstand maximum vertical stress when a fully configured server (including heavy dual power supplies, internal drives, and full expansion cards) is fully extended and hanging out in mid-air.
