Huntsville School District is offering a lot of approximately 15 commercial HVAC units consisting of a mixture of outdoor condensing units and matching indoor air handlers/evaporator sections.

These units were removed from district facilities during HVAC upgrades completed approximately 3–4 years ago (during the COVID renovation period). At the time of removal, the systems were reportedly operational and were replaced as part of planned facility improvements—not necessarily due to equipment failure.

Since removal, the units have been stored indoors in dry storage on pallets.

Included:

• Approximately 15 total HVAC components
• Mixture of:
• Outdoor condensing units
• Indoor air handlers/evaporator sections
• Various manufacturers including (based on visible units):
• York
• Guardian
• Amana
• Others possible
• Assorted capacities and model numbers

Known Information

• Units have not been tested since removal.
• No warranties or guarantees are expressed or implied.
• Refrigerant status is unknown.
• Electrical components, coils, compressors, and accessories are sold as-is.
• Some units may be complete while others may be missing components or paired equipment.

Condition: Used – Untested

Buyer should assume inspection, repair, refrigerant recovery/charging, or refurbishment may be required before placing into service.

Inspection

Inspection is strongly encouraged prior to bidding. Equipment is available for viewing by appointment during normal business hours.

Loading & Removal

• Equipment is stored inside an enclosed semi trailer.
• Buyer is responsible for all loading and transportation.
• Huntsville School District may be able to assist with loading using available equipment, but loading assistance is not guaranteed.
