The Catholic University of America has one Thomas-Stuart Wheels kick pottery wheel, model KW, available.
It has an adjustable seat from 25.5 inches to 36.5 inches from the floor.
The whole apparatus is 33 inches tall,34 inches wide and 38.5 inches deep.
This is being sold as-is, where-is.
The wheel is at a raised, interior loading dock that can accommodate a full size semi-truck. There is no movable dock plate, so the truck will need to bring a plate or a lift gate.
The buyer is responsible for local pickup or arranging a shipper pickup.
The University will strap the wheel to a standard 40x48 inch wood pallet.
Condition: The wheel easily spins when kicked. The handle to loosen the screw to adjust the height of the seat is missing. The set screw is firmly holding the seat at its current height.

How heavy is this potters wheel? Would it fit in a midsize pickup truck? Can two people pick it up and place it in the pick up truck? 08/26/2026 10:38:48 AM
We are guessing that it weighs less than 100 lbs. We can easily put in the back of a truck, if the truck bed is big enough. The buyer is responsible for comparing the provided dimensions of the wheel to ensure it will fit in the truck or trailer brought to the University campus. 08/26/2026 12:04:08 PM
