1992 Ames Research Center special military build called "Two Forward". This 16ft boat with a fiberglass center and Zodiac tubes was built as a Search & Rescue for the US military with "horse" style seating, and a 70 hp Evinrude engine. This boat comes with a Pacific 16-1500 trailer - SN:40R1KKS15NAK04715. The boat was recently repaired and is functional. The engine was recently started and the gas/oil filters were recently changed. The tubes of the boat are in used and in good shape. The tubes hold air and the valves have been replaced. The trailer is in good condition and is functional. The trailer has a spare tire also. This items was purchased from the US govt and has title/registration. The trailer has a title from the US Govt.
This boat and trailer are being sold in "As Is" condition with the cost of removal on the purchaser.

Please confirm hull ID as that does not match a Zodiac but an aqua race cart. The boat was bought from the US Govt but not retitled in buyer name or is it in the seller’s name?. It is a aqua race cart, custom made with a Zodiac outer tube. The boat has a Maryland title and registration in the sellers name. Maryland law requires the boat to be titled and registered in stored in Maryland. The boat is legal for use in Maryland but the buyer will need to retitle once purchased. 11/18/2025 19:18:20 PM
Why is "Zodiac" used in the listing if its a Ames Research Center boat? Is there any documentation from the manufacturer or the govt agency it was acquired from that references it? Yes, I have all the original documentation that can go with this sale. The boat is a custom US govt built with a standard "zodiac" rubber tubes on the outside with the custom fiberglass center/middle hull. She is a solid built boat. I called the original boat maker but the company is out of business and the original designers only spoke to me in person with nothing written/documented in an email.
