1996 Johnson outboard 9.9hp converted to a 15hp engine, this motor is like new with very low hours of use. All work was performed at a local marine outboard shop, the motor has less then 40 hours on it from the time it was purchased new to now. This was personally owned by a member of management, they no longer have the boat it went on.
The boat was a small boat mostly made out of wood and it rotted over time being exposed to the elements. The owner got rid of the boat and kept the motor sitting in storage for a few years, then decided they were not gonna buy another boat to for the motor to go on. Owner reported the motor was winterized before it was put in storage and was recently turned over by hand.

What do you mean when you say engine was converted from 10 - 15 hp. What was done? 12/10/2025 21:12:59 PM
This was the owners response when asked what was done to it to convert it. A 1996 Johnson 9.9 HP can be converted to a 15 HP, as they often share the same powerhead, with the main difference being the carburetor, specifically a larger high-speed jet, and sometimes a tuned exhaust; the process involves swapping the carb and the exhaust for 15 HP versions for increased fuel/air flow, a common modification for tiller models. 12/11/2025 07:03:41 AM

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction.
