Salt Lake County is offering a Garaventa Genesis Vertical Platform Lift, model GEN-LS-US, manufactured May 18, 2018 and installed in August 2018. This lift was used indoors in a government facility and was removed due to building modifications, not equipment failure. The unit is powered by 120 VAC single-phase power and utilizes a lead screw drive system with a travel speed of approximately 10 feet per minute. Floor-to-floor travel height is approximately 62 inches.
The platform measures approximately 55 inches wide by 59 inches deep, with an overall lift height of approximately 84 inches. The lift is rated for 750 pounds and features a fully enclosed platform, safety interlocks, automatic lower door opener, and manual upper door. The lift is ADA compliant and designed for wheelchair accessibility in commercial, institutional, and public buildings.
The lift is currently operational and in good overall condition. The automatic lower door opener may require service or replacement. Aside from that, the unit shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with age and prior institutional use. See photos for additional detail on condition.
Garaventa Genesis lifts are widely used in government buildings, schools, and commercial facilities and are known for reliability and durability. Replacement cost for a comparable lift can exceed $20,000 installed.
Buyer is responsible for removal, rigging, and transportation. Lift is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
