I am interested in bidding on the 2017 Ford Taurus (Lot #10013-1147) and had a few specific questions regarding the vehicle's maintenance history: Maintenance Logs: Could you please check the glove box or the fleet maintenance file to see if there is any record of the internal water pump or timing chain being replaced? As this is a known critical maintenance item for the 3.5L Duratec engine around the 70,000-mile mark, knowing if this has been addressed would significantly impact the bidding value. Engine Hours: If possible, could you toggle the dashboard display to the "Engine Info" menu and provide the Total Engine Hours and Idle Hours? Fluid Condition: Has the fleet department noted any recent "milky" appearance in the oil or any unexplained loss of coolant? Repair logs can be obtained after purchase through a FOIA request. It does not appear that this vehicle has had a water pump or timing chain replaced. There was no hour meter located in the functions on the dash. All fluids are good. Oil changes done every 3K. No milky oil and no leaking coolant.
