greetings! early vin, high output 427s were rated at 450hp. due to insurance company pressure, GM reduced the rating to 425hp part way thru the 1966 production but with no changes to the engine. the tri power '67 was rated at 435hp. pretty car! thanx! 08/02/2026 13:27:20 PM
