Fully deactivated, non-firing Genuine German Mauser C96-based prop, modified and built as an early prototype of Han Solo’s DL-44 Blaster used in Star Wars.

This piece was originally acquired from a Hollywood industry figure approximately 30 years ago and was described as one of the prototype builds created during the era when the DL-44 concept was being developed for the STAR WARS film.

The base is a genuine German Mauser C96 “Broomhandle”, but it has been permanently and professionally deactivated and is legally considered a non-firing prop. Internal components have been disabled and the piece cannot chamber, fire, or be restored to functioning condition.
