All repairs have been made to the vehicle to the knowledge of the district. Salvage titles are very common when the cost to repair exceeds the insurance coverage at the time of the accident. The district elected to file a salvage title, keep the vehicle and repair the damage. We have used the vehicle for several years since it was repaired. Additionally, the district has a policy to file salvage titles on most vehicles it sells once they are fully depreciated by the agency.
