This is a vintage style Merry-Go-Round that was recently removed from the Joel Dean Hitt Park playground. In order to pick up the equipment, you will need a trailer to haul off the Merry-Go-Round.
PLEASE NOTE: The successful bidder will be required to lift the Merry-Go-Round onto their trailer or other unit intended to transport the Merry-Go-Round. Due to the weight of the equipment, City staff are unable to assist in the transportation of the Merry-Go-Round. Onsite visits to inspect the Merry-Go-Round are allowed and encouraged prior to bidding. If you have questions, please contact City of Greenwood City Hall directly.

Yes, the Merry-Go-Round was operational when removed from the playground. The Merry-Go-Round is very heavy (at least 500 to 1,000 lbs or more and required a Bobcat to lift onto a trailer to move from the current playground site). The width is 10'. 07/15/2026 17:26:34 PM

Removal
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
