2013 Chevrolet Caprice SEDAN 4-DR, 3.6L V6 DOHC 24V. Removed from service 12/14/2024.

This vehicle starts and runs/is driveable. ENGINE - 3.6 L gas. No known repairs are needed. Engine hours 11,000. Idle hours 7,866. Maintained every 5,500 miles. TRANSMISSION - Automatic with no known repairs needed. DRIVETRAIN - 2 wheel drive. EXTERIOR - Black/White with scratches and dings. Decals have been removed, impressions remain. Emergency equipment has been removed leaving holes in the exterior. Tires are in fair condition. Windows do not have cracked glass. INTERIOR - Black cloth with no known damage to front seats, dash or floor. There is no backseat. AC condition is unknown. Has stock AM/FM radio, dual side air bags, cruise control, power steering, power windows, power door locks, and power seats.

THE CITY DOES NOT INSPECT EVERY ITEM TO SEE IF IT OPERATES PROPERLY. The City is not responsible or accountable for the condition of any items.

Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items of interest. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding.

Inspection is by appointment only. Staff will not be available to discuss any items or their conditions. Appointments may be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Payment

PAYMENT

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

Note:

1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.

2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX

When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.

If you are seeking sales tax exemption, you must complete Liquidity Services’ tax exemption form(s). We recommend doing this prior to the auction’s closure or before making payment. To do so, please visit Liquidity Services' Tax Exemption Submission Tool.

Removal

Purchased items may be removed by appointment only. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.


The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the purchased items. NO ASSISTANCE WILL BE PROVIDED. A daily storage fee of $25.00 may be charged for any items not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.


After the full payment has processed online, the Buyer (the successful highest/winning bidder) must first print out and sign the Bill of Sale where it states “Buyer/Agent Signature." The Buyer will then need to scan and e-mail the signed Bill of Sale along with a copy of the Buyer's driver’s license or other valid State ID to auction@templetx.gov.


The Buyer must contact the City of Temple name and phone number on Buyer’s Certificate to make an appointment to collect all purchased items.


The Buyer (or Buyer's authorized third party) will bring any equipment/tools needed to take possession of the purchased items. Employees cannot assist with the removal of the purchased items (such as starting or loading a vehicle or other equipment). If the Buyer plans to have a third party pick up the purchased items, the Buyer must complete and sign the Authorization of Release document found on this link. The signed Authorization of Release must be e-mailed to auction@templetx.gov prior to making any removal arrangements.
