For additional information, please call Jacki Goode at 205-625-4160. Items are sold as is, where is and without warranty. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pickup, load and transport. If you pay with cash, please have exact moneys. Inspection and pick up hours are 8:00am to 2:30pm Monday thru Thursday; no exceptions!
Payment
Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U.S. Currency, Certified Check, Money Order, Company Check (with Bank letter guaranteeing payment – mandatory)Checks shall be made payable to: Blount County Commission. Payments shall be made at the location listed in the Buyer’s Certificate. Bidder forfeits sale of merchandise if payment is not received at the close of 5 (five) business days.
Removal
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Blount County Commission assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 8:00a.m. and 2:30p.m., Monday through Thursday, excluding legal holidays.
Special Instructions
ALL REFERENCES TO BLOUNT COUNTY OR BLOUNT COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AND STRIPING MUST BE REMOVED PRIOR TO LEAVING THE PREMISES.
