Description

2013 Chevrolet Tahoe SPORT UTILITY 4-DR, 5.3L V8 OHV 16V FFV. Available for auction is a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe. This vehicle passed a basic operation check, it started with a boost and was able to move under its own power. A/C, windows, wipers, lights, turn signals all worked at time of inspection. This was a former police patrol vehicle and has holes present on the exterior and interior from equipment removal. This vehicle has portions of decal remaining and impressions from decals that were removed. The gauge cluster was dead, we were not able to view current mileage.

The last recorded mileage from our city garage was 111,200mi on 12/03/2024. The vehicle was removed from service in the summer of 2025. This model year IS NOT odometer disclosure exempt. The odometer disclosure statement and odometer section on the vehicle title will be completed as not actual mileage.


This vehicle is SOLD AS IS WHERE IS. This vehicle has been sitting and may have issues we are not aware of. We encourage interested bidders to schedule an inspection before the auction closes. The winning bidder is responsible for removing the vehicle from our premises and ensuring their own safety while doing do. The City of Mount Holly is unable to provide assistance during loadout.

SALES TAX

When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.

Removal

The City of Mount Holly will not ship or coordinate rigging/shipping. Pick-up appointments can be made Monday through Friday, 7AM to 2PM. Please bring a printed/digital copy of your buyer’s certificate and a valid photo ID to show during pickup. If you fail to bring these two items during pickup you will not be permitted to load out and will need to schedule another pickup.

You (the buyer) must be present during pick up. If you are unable to come to our location to load out you will need to fill and sign a release authorization form before we release the vehicle to 3rd party such as a towing company or family member/employee/friend. Contact Gary Milstead using the contact information within the listing after winning if you require a release authorization form.

REMOVAL: TO SCHEDULE Removal after payment has been made. Removal is by Appointment Only and all items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.

Special Instructions

Title Work:

BEFORE BIDDING, please ensure the name and address on file with GovDeals.com for your account is accurate. The title will only be transferred to the individual buyer or an organization associated with the individual. NO TITLE WILL BE PROVIDED DAY OF PICKUP. Titles will be completed, notarized, and mailed to the address you have on file with GovDeals.com to arrive within two weeks of pickup.

By default, titles will be sent USPS Priority Mail at no charge to you. You may also choose to pick up the title after completion from City Administration offices located within the Mount Holly Municipal Complex at 400 E Central Ave. Mount Holly, NC 28120. Please let us know by email if you would like to pick up the title in person.
