Buyer MUST PICK UP ASSET WITHIN TEN (10) BUSINESS DAYS from the time/date of the Buyer’s Certificate. If asset is not picked up within ten (10) business days, Seller may instruct GovDeals to DEFAULT the Buyer and re-auction asset.
Buyer MUST MAKE APPOINTMENT 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE to pick up asset by calling 301-766-2840. Buyers who failure to make an appointment may be refused access to the asset and instructed to return after the appointment is made. Pick up appointments are available:
September – May: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm – NO EXCEPTIONS
June – August: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm – NO EXCEPTIONS
Buyer MUST make ALL logistic and physical preparations necessary to remove asset from Seller’s property - SELLER WILL NOT ASSIST – NO EXCEPTIONS. Seller will not be responsible for any injury or damage sustained during the removal of the asset.
Buyer MUST bring or arrange for ALL appropriate equipment, supplies, personnel, and vehicle needed to move and load asset - SELLER WILL NOT ASSIST – NO EXCEPTIONS.
Deconstruction of any kind to the Seller’s buildings or property when removing asset is PROHIBITED.
Buyer must possess and present a government-issued photo ID to the Seller at time of pick up as proof of identity.
If using a third party to pick up asset on your behalf, Buyer MUST FIRST complete and sign this
AUTHORIZATION of RELEASE then email it to the Seller, otherwise Seller will NOT give third party access to asset – NO EXCEPTIONS. Third party must possess and present a government-issued photo ID to the Seller at time of pick up as proof of identity.
