Hello sir, you have been more than helpful with my questions on the netting. Very well appreciated. I am trying to purchase this for a project for youth programs indoor. And we are required but also need netting for the building and for the county codes. Then on top of that I would be traveling a long distance there and back to retrieve this netting if I was to win the auction. Couple more questions if you don't mind please. My concern is how old the netting is and how long it has been in the outdoors and how much of a deteriorating has it had. The concern is that if it has been in the elements for a while it might just come apart just from handling it. Do you know how long it has been sitting outside sir, or how old the material is. Sorry to bother you, but this is going for a good cause and just reaching out for some clarification if you could thank you so much. 02/26/2026 14:14:02 PM
The netting has been outside since 2018 but it is in excellent condition. When we purchased the netting, we were going to use it as barrier on our golf driving range. We could never get the support from the installation to install the telephone poles needed to properly hang the barriers. I pulled on the netting and it was very strong. 02/26/2026 14:28:27 PM

Removal

Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned. Authorization of Release, etc). Property Pickup Information from Liquidity Sales
When making arrangements to pick up property at Fort Gregg-Adams, please follow the instructions below:
Contact Mr. Lee Farmer at 804.720.0163, email: farmerlee4@gmail.com at least two days prior to departing your location to come to Fort Gregg-Adams, VA.
NOTE: Everyone attempting to enter the installation must have a Real ID driver license. Those without one must bring a valid passport, or a social security card and marriage certificate, or social security card and birth certificate in order to obtain a visitor’s pass.
I advise you not to enter the base into your navigation system as it will take you to a gate other than the Visitor’s Center gate.
Follow the directions below:
Get on 95 South or North and continue until you get to Exit 54 (Temple Ave exit in Colonial Heights)
Bear RIGHT at this exit. As you make the exit, you will enter a traffic circle (round-about). As you enter the circle keep right. This will put you on Temple Ave. Stay on Temple Ave until you see a sign that reads Route 36 WEST (or Oaklawn Blvd). Turn right and get in the left lane. Continue straight to the next light (Gregg Ave Gate). Turn left onto Gregg Ave and then pull into the Visitors Center on the right side as you enter the base.
Call Lee Farmer at 804.720.0163 when you arrive at the Visitor’s Center and he will meet you there, assist you in obtaining your visitor’s pass , and then escort you to the loadout site.
