Why This Roll Is Special: The 1954-P Lincoln Wheat Penny is one of the lower mintage issues of the entire late wheat penny series with only 71.6 million struck at Philadelphia — significantly fewer than most surrounding years. That lower mintage makes the 1954-P a modestly scarcer and more desirable date among collectors building complete Lincoln cent sets. An intact sealed estate roll in original paper wrap is an increasingly rare find for any wheat penny date.
