It was NOT a K9 vehicle but was used a marked patrol vehicle.
This unit was purchased new and locally serviced at a local Ford dealership by an ASE certified mechanic.
In addition, this unit was utilized as a marked police vehicle that was responsible for daily patrol. It was used as an administrative vehicle for approximately the last two years of service. This vehicle was removed from service in June 2025 and has been parked since decommissioned. All emergency equipment has been removed.
The windows are all in good condition with no broken glass. The interior, including the seats, are in good condition considering the vehicle's use as a patrol car. Both front seat have covers as pictured.
As pictured, the tires are approximately 80% and are in good condition.
This vehicle has normal scratches and dings, as expected for a vehicle of this age. Police markings have been removed but some impressions remain. There is rust forming on the front of the hood which is shown in the photographs.
There are no check engine lights when removed from service. Unknown issues are possible to exist. Inspection is encouraged. The air was blowing cold when removed from service.
Recent Noteworthy Service:
Mileage 106773 - Water pump replacement, timing chain replacement, AC line replacement, Oil pressure switch replacement, and side mirror replacement. Total cost of repairs $3,714.64.
Needed repairs:
Mileage 109041 - Operator noticed occasional long delays in transmission shifts. Ford recommended pulling the transmission and completing a rebuild or replacing the transmission. Due to the age of the vehicle and replacement schedule we decided to decline the repairs.
The vehicle starts and drives as it should with the exception of the intermittent transmission issue. It cannot be predicted when and if the transmission will fail.
The complete service history from new to current day has been attached to this posting as a PDF and is listed as additional information located just above the questions and answers portion of the webpage.
