Inspection
Bidders must contact our office to set up an inspection time. We are available Monday - Friday, 8am to 4pm, with the exception of 12-1pm for lunch. Please contact Brooke Alverson at 740-295-7353 or email brookealverson@coshoctoncounty.net to schedule an inspection.
Payment
Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the date of the Buyer’s Certificate. We DO NOT accept online payments or payment by credit card. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory). Checks shall be made payable to: Coshocton County Commissioners and mailed or brought to: 401-1/2 Main Street; Coshocton, OH 43812.
Removal
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Property may be removed between the hours of 8:00a.m. and 4:00p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. Packing & Shipping Instructions: The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping, including packing charges. After our office has received payment for the auction item(s), we will contact the buyer, who will be required to call our local UPS store at 740-622-8606 and give them a credit card number to be charged for both the packing & shipping costs. Item(s) will not be shipped until all costs are paid for.
