This vehicle was in service City of Maryville Police Department. It regular use throughout the City and wider areas. This vehicle is being replaced on a fleet replacement schedule.

Removal


ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SELLER’S LOCATION; ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.

Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.

At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).

A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days.

NOTICE: If you are the winning bidder and default by failing to adhere to this seller's terms and conditions, your account with Liquidity Services WILL BE LOCKED.

Guaranty Waiver: All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.” (Seller) makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.

Vehicle Title Execution and Release Requirements

All vehicle sales are final. The successful bidder (“Purchaser”) is required to personally sign and properly execute the certificate of title prior to the vehicle being released from the City’s premises. Under no circumstances will a vehicle be released without a properly executed title.

If the Purchaser will not be present at the scheduled pickup time, the City may mail the certificate of title to the Purchaser for execution. All mailing costs, including certified or overnight delivery if required by the City, shall be paid by the Purchaser.

If the Purchaser authorizes a third party to pick up the vehicle, the Purchaser must either:

A) Provide a notarized Power of Attorney expressly authorizing the third party to execute all associated documentation and take possession of the vehicle.

B) Complete all documentation required by the City prior to vehicle removal and complete an Authorization of Release expressly authorizing the third party to take possession of the vehicle.

The third party must present valid government-issued identification at the time of pickup. The City reserves the right to reject any Power of Attorney/Authorization of Release that is incomplete, altered, or deemed insufficient.

Failure to timely execute and return required documentation may result in cancellation of the sale, forfeiture of partial payment, and/or relisting of the vehicle at the City’s sole discretion.

The City strictly enforces these requirements and will not release any vehicle until all documentation requirements are fully satisfied.
