We believe the weight is around 9000 pounds, but cannot be certain. We typically don't set a reserve price. If the auction ends below expected sale, we may consider it, but find things typically work out. I did confirm the lights worked when it was taken from service. 03/16/2026 15:12:22 PM

While onsite social distancing and mask wearing must be practiced when possible as per the Governor's executive orders 147 & 169. Most items offered at Govdeals Auction are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders are encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding. All Surplus Property is sold AS IS, WHERE IS with NO warranty or guarantee either expressed or implied.
Town of Cary employees are not able to assist with moving and loading.
Most items are stored at the Town of Cary, Operation Center located at 400 - 420 James Jackson Ave., Cary (between NW Cary Parkway and NW Maynard Rd.). If using GPS for directions, enter 400 James Jackson Ave, Cary, NC 27513. Look for the only 3 lane paved driveway with a black mail box on right. Items are stored in several locations at Public Works site.

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.Note:
1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.
2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX
When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.If you are seeking sales tax exemption, you must complete Liquidity Services’ tax exemption form(s). We recommend doing this prior to the auction’s closure or before making payment. To do so, please visit Liquidity Services' Tax Exemption Submission Tool.

ALL Pick-ups will require a printed copy of the Govdeals Bill of Sale to get your Purchased Item. It will be sent electronically upon completion of payment. If a third party is being used, please printout and complete the release authorization form. It is linked to the the item listing.
Most items are stored at the Town of Cary, Operation Center located at 400 - 420 James Jackson Ave., Cary (between NW Cary Parkway and NW Maynard Rd.). If you bought a titled item, you will be asked to fill out the Re-Assignment Information as YOU want it recorded. We need to copy the completed Title Re-Assignment for Town records. No corrections are allowed by DMV. You may need to bring a license plate when driving the vehicle off the Town's property.
The Buyer will make ALL arrangements and perform ALL work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of your property. The Town will NOT provide any tools, materials or manpower.
A daily storage fee of $10.00 will be charged for any item NOT removed within 10 business days as stated on the Buyer's Certificate. Please note that upon removal of the property, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
