2009 Thomas School Bus INCOMPLETE CHASSIS. Model MDL 1418S
This bus is non-operational and mileage is approx. 98,000 based on our 11/1/25 reports. Actual mileage cannot be verified because of bus operation/battery failure, but its not more than 98,500. Powered by a dependable 6.7L Cummins diesel engine and equipped with an air brake system for reliable stopping performance. Seats 72 passengers plus the driver and features full pass-through underbody storage compartments for ample cargo space. The air conditioning is not operational, and the batteries/alternator will need replacement for proper function. Various parts have been removed from the bus. Some items missing are as follows: a few seat covers, bent rear rims, and electric wires from under the dash. Being sold as-is—ideal for parts, refurbishment, or conversion projects. Again, bus is not operational and will require a tow for removal.

Removal
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer's Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, will Mountain Brook City Schools assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Please call in advance of arrival to schedule all pick-ups. Property may typically be removed between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.
Special Instructions
Payment must be received at Board of Education prior to pick-up at location. Proof of payment will be required before item(s) is released. No refunds will be issued after payment is made.
