Description

2008 Thomas Freightliner C2 Special Education School Bus INCOMPLETE CHASSIS.

Bus has approximately 128,155 miles. Equipped with a Mercedes-Benz 260 HP diesel engine and automatic transmission. This unit is configured as a special needs bus designed for wheelchair and special education transport. The A/C is weak, the batteries will likely need replacement soon, and the transmission warning light is currently active. A suspension issue is also present. Vehicle is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranties expressed or implied, and may require additional repairs. Recommended that bidders inspect the vehicle prior to bidding.

Removal

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer's Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, will Mountain Brook City Schools assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Please call in advance of arrival to schedule all pick-ups. Property may typically be removed between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.

Payment must be received at Board of Education prior to pick-up at location. Proof of payment will be required before item(s) is released. No refunds will be issued after payment is made.
