The Cooper Surgical Leep system 1000 with fully integrated mobile smoke evacuator is designed to effectively capture and filter surgical smoke plume generated during electrosurgical procedures, including loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP).LEEP system, which stands for Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure, is used primarily in gynecology to remove abnormal or precancerous cells from the cervix as well as to treat cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). The procedure is often recommended after certain types of abnormal Pap tests and can also be used to remove benign growths such as polyps. The LEEP system operates through the use of a wire loop heated by electric current. The loop acts as a surgical blade, excising tissue while cauterizing blood vessels to minimize bleeding. This technique allows for precise removal of targeted cervical tissue with the added benefit of providing a sample for further histopathological examination.
