We strongly recommend all bidders to personally inspect or have item inspected on your behalf any/all vehicles or equipment of interest, as all items offered for sale are used and may contain a number of unknown mechanical/operational defects. We do not inspect or perform any diagnostics on vehicles or equipment prior to offering items for sale to determine mechanical or operational condition.
If you wish to inspect sale items prior to auction closing, they can be viewed Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday between the hours of 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. No prior arrangements are necessary.
*Due to insurance carrier regulations, there are no test drives of vehicles.*
*Maintenance Records will be available for inspection and provided to buyer if records are available.*

- Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.
- Wire Transfer payment is required for the following:
- Probation buyers: Any invoice $1,000 and above
- Established (non-probation) buyers: Any invoice $5,000 and above

Removal
GovDeals will notify the Buyer upon receipt of payment. Sale items can be picked up Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday between the hours of 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. No prior arrangements are necessary. At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and government issued photo ID. When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s). The person releasing the item will require the Buyer to show all three documents. The Buyer must present these forms of identification at the scheduled pick up or the auction item(s) will not be released. Buyer needs to sign and remit this Authorization of Release if someone is removing on his or her behalf.
If you are picking up an item for someone else, you will need to bring the receipt, (photo copies are acceptable), plus a copy of the signed authorization of release from the designated winning bidder specifically naming you as their authorized representative, along with your own ID.
Buyer must remove or make satisfactory arrangements to remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by GovDeals of receipt of payment, and within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Notice of Award unless prior arrangements have been made. Property shall be removed at the winning bidder’s expense. The winning bidder shall reimburse the State of Alaska for any damage to State property resulting from the removal of the purchased item. If the Buyer, after making payment for an item, fails to remove the item within the specified time, the State of Alaska reserves the right (1) to retain any and all payments; and (2) to dispose of the item as deemed desirable by the State of Alaska.
Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Notice of Award. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will State of Alaska DOT/PF State Equipment Fleet assume responsibility or prepare for packing, loading or shipping.

State of Alaska – Equipment Fleet, makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
