ITEM DESCRIPTION: Per department: *UPDATE 1/15 * Originally the department told us that the truck had damage occurring from a rear collision while backing up. We have since learned from the driver of the truck that information is not correct. He stated that the rollers in the sweeper that the conveyor run on locked up while in use resulting in damage to the belt. Damage is limited to the sweeper unit, chassis is in good condition, batteries are bad and most likely need replaced. Truck (HEC-29) was driven to its current location approx. a year ago and parked. (Truck might start with a boost). Title will be filled out to match the bill of sale per VA DMV rule. NO EXCEPTIONS so please don't ask. Title will either be mailed to winning bidder after truck has been picked up or given to buyer at time of removal.

Buyer is responsible for ALL LOADING AND REMOVAL. SOLD AS IS / WHERE IS.

The buyer must provide agent with a faxed copy of buyer's certificate, including their signed authorization to release their items. Person picking up will be required to sign the Bill of Sale.
CONDITIONS OF REMOVAL: Removal is by Appointment with 24-hour notice. If additional time is needed for pickup, it must be approved by Ron Barrett, ronald@vt.edu by email BEFORE the item is purchased.
