PAYMENT

SALES TAX
When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.If you are seeking sales tax exemption, you must complete Liquidity Services’ tax exemption form(s). Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only. Appointments must be made a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from Auction End Date.
The City of Schertz does NOT offer shipping on items sold through GovDeals. Buyers can make arrangements with a third-party courier to take possession of items that are won and arrange for packaging and shipping at their own expense. The City does not maintain packaging or shipping materials to facilitate the shipping of items. Buyers using a courier will be required to notify the Purchasing Department that they are using a courier service and if possible provide the name of the individual who will be picking up items on behalf of the buyer. The City of Schertz is not responsible for items once they are accepted by the courier.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided.
Items not picked up within ten (10) days will be returned to inventory and offered to the second place bidder or re-auctioned.
