We do not have the title. At the time of pickup, the buyer or their authorized transporter will receive a bill of sale generated by GovDeals and Maryland State Form VR-112.
Maryland MVA Form VR-112 (Auctioneer’s Sales Receipt) authorizes the transfer of ownership for an abandoned vehicle sold at auction.
VR-112 summary:
Purpose: Serves as an official bill of sale and proof of ownership for vehicles sold at auction.
Notarization: Must be notarized to be valid.
Use: Used by the buyer to apply for a new title and registration.
• Vehicles will not be cleaned out prior to sale. Any personal property remaining in the vehicle becomes the responsibility of the buyer.
• We are not the original owners of property and cannot guarantee vehicle history or condition.
• Vehicle inspections are not available prior to the sale.
• Double-decker car carriers are permitted with notice at the time of appointment for vehicle pickup.
• Pickup is by appointment only during the following hours:
o Monday – Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
o Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Our office is closed on all major holidays.
• At pickup, buyers or affiliates must report to the Commercial window with:
o A copy of the purchase certificate/invoice
o Valid identification required
• Failure to pick up the vehicle within the allotted timeframe may result in storage fees, forfeiture of the item, or other penalties in accordance with GovDeals policies.

Removal

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.
Removal is by appointment only. Contact the GovDeals Full Service team listed on your certificate to schedule a removal. Pick up days and times are as follows: Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Sunday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. All items must be picked-up / removed within 8 (eight) business days from the auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license or other form of Government issued identification, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
**All vehicles must be towed from our lot regardless of whether they start and run or not. Double-decker car carriers are permitted with notice at the time of appointment for vehicle pickup.
