Payment
Please contact us to verify tax status as soon as sale is awarded, and you receive the Buyer's Certificate. Seller requires tax exempt verification or buyer may be charged tax. Bill of Sale will be issued once tax status is verified. Payment in full is due no later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyers Certificate. See Terms and Conditions for additional payment instructions. Payment must be made by cash or money order. No credit cards, personal checks or online payments! Seller recommends buyer to come by the Fleet Facility at 625 West Industry Drive to inspect vehicle prior to making payment. Payment must be sent or taken to: City of Kingsport, City Hall, Customer Service (Water) Department, 415 Broad St, Kingsport, Tennessee, 37660. Please bring or send copy of Bill of Sale with payment. Removal
PLEASE CALL IN ADVANCE TO SCHEDULE A TIME FOR PICK-UP! The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation, and exporting. Fleet Operational Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed from 11:30 to 1:30 for lunch. Receipt or Proof of Payment must be brought to the Fleet Maintenance Department located at 625 West Industry Drive, Kingsport, Tennessee, 37660. Please park outside the fenced area in the parking lot until directed into gated area. Please be careful and do not block gate, driveway or other vehicles. Release paperwork must be signed by buyer to receive title and remove equipment. Buyer must send authorization memo or email for designated driver pickup if buyer is not coming in person. Buyer or driver is responsible for loading and securing vehicle for transport. You must arrive prior to 4:00 so we can make copies of signed paperwork.
