Capitan Municipal Schools, NM is offering the following surplus vehicle for public auction.
This is a 2009 Blue Bird School/Transit Bus. Mileage is unknown as the odometer reading is not available.
The bus is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS. It does not run and has not operated in several years. Several components are missing. Because of its condition, this vehicle should be considered a non-operational unit suitable for parts, rebuilding, or salvage.
The exterior and body appear to be in fair to good condition for its age based on visual inspection. Expect typical scratches, fading, and wear consistent with long-term institutional use.
The bus was maintained by Capitan Municipal Schools during its service life; however, due to extended downtime and missing components, no warranty or guarantee of functionality is expressed or implied.
Buyer is responsible for all loading and removal. The bus will need to be towed or transported from the site. Buyers should bring appropriate equipment such as a tow truck, trailer, chains, and tie-downs to remove the vehicle safely.

Removal

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.
Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
