Q Exactive HF Hybrid Quadrupole-Orbitrap Mass Spectrometer (ThermoFisher Scientific)
Especially well-suited for proteomics applications, the QE-HF instrument provides high sensitivity (sub-femtomole), high resolution up to 240,000, and high mass accuracy (< 3 ppm), affording greater sequence information and high-confidence protein identifications. The QE-HF is well equipped for protein identification, mapping protein post-translational modifications and protein quantification via data-independent acquisition or tandem-mass tag labeling.

Inspection

Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Items are available for inspection from 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM Monday through Friday (closed on University holidays).

Payment

Payment will be collected by University Surplus and Salvage. Please call 801-581-7917. You can also email surplus@utah.edu for further instructions. Payment methods allowed are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or cash. Wire transfer may be required for payments greater than $5,000.

Removal

Property may be removed any time between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday (closed on University holidays). All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
