Buyer to provide all labor, equipment and vehicles to load and haul material.
Material: Mixed including sand, shell and other. Buyer must obtain soil characterization letter immediately after closing. If any large boulders are found, they can be left on site.
Access: Road shown in photos is City of St Lucie road however, access will be granted on our right of way on the opposite side of the spoil shown in photos.
Timeline: Must begin work within 5 days of soil characterization letter received and must be completed within 2 months.
Quantity: Truck load tickets will be used to measure material removed. Material may be taken from top and slope to be left as shown in photos. Work to begin at west end of site.
General Location: North side of C23 canal and west of CR 609 (Allapattah Rd). Section 34 and 35, Township 37, Range 38. GPS coordinates 27.206664, -802481612.
A contract will be drawn up with details and will require proof of insurance and a cashier check deposit, irrevocable letter of credit or a Performance Bond. See sample of insurance requirements attached.

Payment
Payment in full is due not later than 10 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. If payment is made within 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer's Certificate, an EXTENSION OF PICK UP TIME may be granted up to 5 business days for a total of 15 business days for items that ARE NOT heavy equipment or vehicles and up to 10 days for a total of 20 business days that ARE heavy equipment or vehicles. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency/Cash, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, Money Order or Wire Transfer. We Do NOT accept PayPal or Credit Cards Checks shall be made payable to: SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT, 3301 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33406, Attn: Cashier MSC 6220 for K. Kempf . In some instances, payments may be made at the location listed in the Buyer’s Certificate. SALES TAX: Buyers may be subject to payment of Florida and/or local sales and/or use tax (6%-7.5%). A Consumer’s Certificate of Exemption (Form DR-14) issued by the Florida Department of Revenue; as stated in Florida Rule 12A-1.038(3)(a), may be used to waive the sales tax (Copy must be provided). All out-of-state Consumer’s Certificate of Exemption are not accepted, as stated in Florida Rule 12A-1.038(3)(d).
Removal
Contact from the successful bidder must be made within 5 business days or Seller will declare the bidder in DEFAULT. All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. For additional information, see Terms and Conditions link on posted ad. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will South Florida Water Management District assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed by scheduled appointment only. If Buyer fails to pick up their property within the allotted time, the Seller may declare the Buyer in default. All sales are sold 'as is' as shown in photos.
