No Known issues. Equipment was in working condition when taken out of service 03/2025

    It does not have a speed increaser. According to Public works they had a tractor that had that option so they did not need it for the cutter itself. 05/28/2025 08:13:35 AM

Inspection

Horry County highly recommends bidders do an onsite inspection prior to bidding. Equipment is located at Public Works Complex– 4401 Privetts Road, Conway, SC 29526. Inspection times are between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday by appointment only, excluding Horry County holidays. An appointment must be made to inspect the item. To schedule an inspection, call 843-915-5410. Please note: Potential bidders may inspect items but cannot move items from the place that they are housed. This means equipment can be inspected but cannot be test driven by potential bidders. County employees are not authorized to move vehicles/equipment on behalf of or with potential bidders.

Payment

Payment in full is due not later than five (5) business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. The ONLY Acceptable form of payment is Cashier's Check / Certified Check made payable to: Horry County, SC (unless otherwise noted on the Buyer’s Certificate). No other forms of payment are acceptable! Payment is to be made at or sent to Horry County S.C. Procurement, 103 Elm Street, 1st Floor, Conway, SC 29526. Payment accepted Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. ** PLEASE NOTE: AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF 12.5% TO BE CALCULATED BY THE PRICE OF THE WINNING BID, WILL BE CHARGED TO THE WINNING BIDDER**

Removal

All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment. The winning bidder is responsible for removal of all item(s) won. Hours of removal are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, excluding Horry County holidays. Pick-up/Removals should be scheduled prior to arrival. To schedule pick-up, please call 843-915-5380. When item is being picked up by someone other than the name listed on the Buyer’s Certificate, an email must be sent from the Buyer authorizing a transport company or another individual to pick up the item. The email must indicate the name of the transport company and/or the individuals authorized to pick items up on behalf of the buyer. The responsible party removing the item MUST bring a paper copy of the Buyer's Certificate with them when picking up the item. The item will NOT be released to any person without the Buyer's Certificate in hand. Buyers, Transport services, and/or anyone who is picking-up the item must understand and follow pick-up and loading instructions. Buyers/Transporters must have the ability to operate, drive, and/or load any and all equipment that is being picked up and must have all tools/items necessary to remove the item off of property: i.e.: jump box/boost box, tie downs/tie down straps, spare battery, tire, etc. Horry County is not responsible for providing tools or services to assist buyers in the pick-up of items won. Horry County reserves the right to refuse the pickup and removal of item, at the buyer’s expense, if the pickup and removal instructions are not followed. If you are the winning bidder and default by failing to adhere to this seller's terms and conditions your account with Liquidity Services WILL BE LOCKED.
